ONOFFON™ — visual identity
Visual identity for ONOFFON™, incubator of social development projects of Eonminu®.
ONOFFON™ is the incubator for sociocultural development projects from the Eonminu® portfolio, that has been built over a decade starting as a research proposal in rural areas for the creation of artworks, in May 2011.
During the evolutionary process of ONOFFON™, special attention was devoted to the formulation of a Research-Design-Development model based on the creative industries to build a methodological singularity.
The development of the visual identity for ONOFFON™ took 12 years, and was subject to the constant changes experienced during the construction of the project model.
The experimentation factor is positioned as a fundamental axis to generate disruptive solutions for the market. In 2023, this evolutionary period was closed, defining the components of the graphic identity.
The application of the ONOFFON™ symbol has a recursive, flexible and liquid character that fits to the experimental circumstances of the project.{getCard} $type={post} $title={Connection Case}
Given the experimental conditions of ONOFFON™, this aspect directly influenced the creation of the graphic identity, which took shape over the years, coming to life due to the circumstances of the project's evolution and the values with which it was nourished as it evolved.
Throughout the graphic evolution at building the isotype of ONOFFON™, diverse variations were developed for application, tested in digital and print communication.
{getCard} $type={post} $title={Connection Case}This development generated graphic production to strengthen the brand values by creating new products, applied in editorial material and business stationery.
ONOFFON™ had a turn towards economics, social research and cultural development based on rural interventions in communes in the provinces of Santa Elena and Guayas in Ecuador, including events such as design exhibitions and Pitch presentations in Quito, Guayaquil, and Buenos Aires (Argentina); however, the aspect of artistic creativity remains in force to enrich the opportunities and social influence of the project.
{getCard} $type={post} $title={Connection Case}ONOFFON™ was also pre-selected for exhibitions in Russia and Ireland, and although these opportunities did not materialize for budgetary reasons, Mauro Rojas, creator of the project, won the Emprendedores Culturales Award in 2015, in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
Currently, ONOFFON™ activities are paused to rethink its operations as the Eonminu® portfolio is reformulated throughout this year.
