Samborondón Municipality: Report

Publication design for the Territorial Development Planning, for the Municipality of Samborondón.

Mauro Rojas, Founder and CEO of Eonminu®, was in charge of designing the publication for the report that integrated the Cantonal Development Plan and Territorial Planning for the period 2012-2022, commisioned by the Municipality of Samborondón, in Ecuador.

Editorial projects such as this are often challenging given the usual conditions of data collection processes, generating information that requires rigor so that the graphic editing does not generate noise, for that reason, a simple, clean layout was taken into account, achieving composition of information with sobriety.

We achieved a fairly concise and complete result integrating a large amount of information, optimizing graphic resources.

In order not to divert attention from the traditional concept of a public management report, the classic model of an informative document was respected, opting instead for a sober and clear layout, with a chromatic proposal based on the concept of fertility, taking the official coat of arms of Samborondón as an essential reference to honour its natural wealth.

As complementary instruments, several large format tables were integrated to manage more complex information in a more practical way, in A2 format, due to the density of information processed by planning researchers.
