Editorial development of INFORME DE LABORES 2008, for INPC Guayaquil.

The INFORME DE LABORES 2008 was commissioned by the regional headquarters in Guayaquil of the Instituto Nacional de Patrimonio Cultural del Ecuador, annual report created to distinguish the human factor of the cultural developments carried out by the team of professionals led by Alfredo Moreira, Technical Director.

With a focus on the preservation of social memory and highlighting the visibility of elderly social actors, the presence of individuals who are usually invisible in the deployment of governmental communication is featured with photographs, recognizing their high importance for the development of traditions and popular culture.

This product included a synthesis of projects developed in five provinces of Ecuador, from anthropological projects to archaeological interventions.

The common thread of the content begins with the implementation of anthropological research projects, the architectural and decorative restoration of historical buildings, and archaeological rescue programs.

A rich series of photographs highlights the work carried out by INPC Guayaquil team, sharing details of the restoration of historical buildings and archaeological intervention, rigorous aspects to connect the pieces of Ecuador's history.

This editorial product generated a high impact on the perception of what is considered cultural heritage, giving human labor the place it deserves, both to the actions of civil society and to the experts involved with the restoration of tangible and intangible heritage.
