Design of panels and other communication material for the biographical exhibition on the Ecuadorian writer Alfredo Pareja Diezcanseco


The development of museographic communication for the exhibition Alfredo Pareja Diezcanseco: el hombre y su tiempo was carried out to integrate a set of documentary pieces into an exhibition held at the Eugenio Espejo Convention Center, in Quito, Ecuador.

The project, commissioned by Alfredo Moreira, museographer and cultural heritage consultant, consisted of the creation of a biographical exhibition on the career of the Ecuadorian writer/historian Alfredo Pareja Diezcanseco (1908-1993), which included the curation of documents of high historical value for Ecuadorian and Hispanic American culture.

This exhibition was held in one of the pavilions of Centro de Convenciones Eugenio Espejo, in Quito, as part of the activities that were part of the event La Fiesta Internacional de la Cultura: EL LIBRO 2008. This commission included consulting on museographic communication, and the photographs were taken by Alfredo Moreira.
