Ecuador Antártico #2

Editorial development for the second edition of ECUADOR ANTÁRTICO, magazine by INAE.

Mauro Rojas collaborated in the editorial development of ECUADOR ANTÁRTICO, scientific magazine published by the INAE - Instituto Antártico Ecuatoriano, to reinvent the character of the publication.

The management team of the INAE sights leadership in scientific dissemination in the country and to catch up with the other Antarctic institutions on the planet, which had already climbed the ranks with their own publications.

The challenge was to generate a visual rethinking of the magazine, aimed at refreshing the digestion of scientific topics, allowing a friendlier broadcasting from the public institution, without losing sobriety.

This project is shown in the Eonminu® portfolio as part of the contributions that Mauro Rojas has made throughout his career, for his permanent participation as a designer and the criteria he applied into the editorial composition developed for this product.

The result of this project was satisfactory and left the door open to continue modeling an authentic style of the product, generating new interventions in subsequent INAE publications. The coordination was carried out by Mónica Robles, teacher at ESPOL.
