Fuente Remitente
Creation of Fuente Remitente, performance play executed in open spaces, performed by Mauro Rojas at Almanaque de Cuerpos edition 4.
Mauro Rojas, Founder and CEO of Eonminu®, was part of the performing artists in the fourth edition of Almanaque de Cuerpos, performance art meeting in unconventional spaces, which took place from July 15 to 17, at diverse venues in midtown Guayaquil.
The photographs that record moments of this intervention were taken by Amaury Martínez, and are a courtesy of Jenny Carvajal, director of Almanaque de Cuerpos.
Mauro Rojas acted with Fuente Remitente, a play that was created especially for this event, to connect the circuit of presentations on the closing day of the meeting, past Saturday, July 17.
The Fuente Remitente video sessions were filmed by Maru Moscor and are a courtesy of Soul Comunicaciones.
The story of FUENTE REMITENTE has a criterion of alternate reality: a visitor outside our dimension undertakes a journey to other worlds to explore their ways of life. This play represents a continuation of the performance MOMENTUM, premiered in the first edition of Almanaque de Cuerpos at the Presley Norton Museum in Guayaquil, in 2014.
{getCard} $type={post} $title={Related Project}The objective of this play was to inspire attendees to appropriate public spaces, as a mechanism to observe and explore their reality to generate new connections.
FUENTE REMITENTE, a completely experimental performance, was executed with a processional character, connecting each point marked on the map of the program during the last day of the meeting.
Most of the acting was carried out in silence, guiding the attendees from the Manzana 14 headquarters, then towards the streets Imbabura and Panama intersection, and finally returning towards Malecón 2000.
