Art of Mauro Rojas at INTERBIFEP
Mauro Rojas participated in the INTERBIFEP Biennial, in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with two artworks on mixed media.
Mauro Rojas, Founder and CEO of Eonminu®, was selected to participate in INTERBIFEP, the International Portrait Biennial of Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, with two artworks created in digital and hybrid techniques.
The exhibition is currently open at Galerija Portreta in Tuzla, officially opened yesterday and will be active during two months. The INTERBIFEP Biennial brings together a long list of creators from diverse countries around the world.
Mauro Rojas is participating with Tongo and Adolfo, created with digital and hybrid techniques, combining the theme of the territory from two extreme poles: the harmonious conservation of the closest nucleus, and the moral decadence that causes imbalance and collective threat.
Understanding that including a rather delicate topic regarding the figure of Adolf Hitler, the openness of the organizers to receive this particular piece was very important, especially due the portrait is highlighting the most visceral energy of the character in question.
Mauro Rojas plays with the concept TERRITORIAL PERSONIFICATION, placing each figure on opposite poles.
While 'Tongo' represents the connection with ancient memories, 'Adolfo' highlights the most visceral energy that provokes social confusion.
It is a very enriching experience participating in an Art Biennial with a great tradition in Europe that gives space to these themes, using visual symbols in a frontal way, to face our reality by managing social memory and the collective unconscious with courage and self confidence.
