Provincialization of Santa Elena

Communication material for the exhibition on the Provincialization of Santa Elena, in Ecuador.


Archaeologist Maritza Freire commissioned Eonminu® the communication design for the Santa Elena Provincialization Process exhibition, who coordinated the holding of this event in the Santa Elena canton, in the recently created Province of Santa Elena, in Ecuador.

The main objective in the preparation of the communication was to take the archival material and inputs from the narrated report, to convert them into graphic testimony of the provincialization of Santa Elena.

The installation consisted of photographic panels and composition of timelines, a graphic chronology that connects the various milestones that led the residents of Santa Elena to achieve provincialization.

This narrative, expressed in a fresh journalistic manner, managed to enrich with communication value a social process, a community event that required visual order to understand the great importance it has for the history of Ecuador.
